Questions
It's not every day you get the exciting task of booking musicians! That's why it's important to have the answers to all your questions to ensure everything runs smoothly between us and your event!
1.
Our venue doesn't allow for amplification. Can you perform unamplified/unplugged?
Unfortunately we are unable to perform unamplified as it can cause us serious strain and fatigue for our instruments without the support of amplification. Always check with your venue/local council regarding sound restrictions before you book with live musicians.
2.
Can you learn songs that aren't on your published set list?
Yes! We love learning new songs and can learn up to x3 special song requests of your choosing.

During our breaks we provide background music from a Spotify playlist.
4.
How far can you travel?
We are based in Sydney and can travel for regional, interstate and international events. Please note, travel fees will incur for all events located 50km from the Sydney CBD.
Flights, transfers and accommodation may also be required to be arranged subject to the destination.

Do you require crew meals?
We require meals and non-alcoholic beverages for all of our performance packages (not including our ceremony only package). Please be sure to have these crew meals arranged with your venue manager/event coordinator.

Can our celebrant and/or MC use your microphone?
Our microphone can only be utilized for making general announcements by either ourselves or a nominated guest. Your MC and/or celebrant will need to arrange their own microphone/PA system.
8.
We want a pumping dancefloor toward the end of the night. Can you provide music for dancing?
The dynamic of an acoustic duo is quite different to a DJ or full band line up where there is usually the expectation of dancing. Acoustic duos are more suited for providing the perfect accompaniment for a laid-back, lounge style atmosphere.
If dancing is what you are after for the later part of the night, we recommend either engaging a DJ or another option is for you to use our PA system to play a Spotify playlist for those dance tunes. Please let us know if you would like us to send through contact details for some highly recommended DJs.
9.
Will we have the opportunity to catch up prior to the event date?
We offer a complimentary Zoom meeting or phone call 4 weeks prior to your event date. It's a great way to catch up beforehand!
10.
How much time do you need to bump in and bump out?
We will require approx 1.5 hours to bump in and 1 hour to bump out.

Can you perform as a Trio?
If you're looking for something a little extra, we offer an acoustic Trio package. This includes a line up of 3 musicians. With the acoustic trio, expect to have an enhanced musical experience with additional layers of either a sassy saxophone or cool keys; complimenting our vocals and guitar.
